About our caravan service

As any caravan owner knows, it’s essential to have your caravan serviced annually for insurance and peace of mind but also to comply with any Manufactures' warranty. This ensures that your caravan is safe to use and you have complete peace of mind. Servicing extends the life of your vehicle. A small investment in routine servicing maintains the condition and the roadworthiness of your caravan, motorhome or campervan.

At Tamar Caravan Centre, Plymouth, we pride ourselves on our thorough caravan servicing. Our caravan servicing is designed to check, test and maintain all aspects of your caravan, such as the electric, gas and water supply, ventilation, fire safety precautions and WC facilities. We ensure that we check all moving parts of your caravan (such as the tyres, stabiliser, chassis and brakes), the battery and bodywork for damage and faults, as well as checking the caravan over for dampness and water ingress.

Should we discover a fault, we’re capable of carrying out any repairs required to get you back on the road in a flash! It’s not only the mechanical aspects of your caravan that we service, we also ensure the interior, components and systems are fit for purpose and safe to live in.

We can deliver a range of thorough and expert caravan service checks, in our fully approved workshop, we are Factory Trained by Swift and are specialists in the Swift product range.

** PLEASE NOTE: It is recommended that you always check the tightness of wheel nuts before every trip. If the wheels have been removed during service (or for other reasons) the torque of the wheel nuts should be rechecked after 50 miles.
