Live the Alfresco Style on Holiday with a Portable Barbeque
Bring the taste of summer to your next camping trip
Imagine sitting outside of your caravan, motorhome or awning, taking in the fresh air, with the smell of bacon & eggs, freshly cooked pizza dough, a roasted chicken or paella wafting under your nose from your portable barbeque. Feeling hungry now?
As soon as someone mentions barbeque, the majority of people immediately think of burgers and sausages. However, with the Cadac range of portable barbeques and their interchangeable cooking surfaces, you can cook up a myriad of dishes, allowing you to eat in style, whether on a campsite or travelling around in a motorhome. Alternatively, you can use the Cadac in your garden to impress your friends, family, or neighbours.
When the Summer months are dwindling, it doesn’t mean that breaks away are over. There are many festivals and winter holidays to enjoy. Invest in a canopy, and use your Cadac barbeque to cook up a warming roast chicken on a winter or spring Bank Holiday Sunday, or some jacket potatoes, and sausages for Oktoberfest…even a juicy steak to celebrate a special occasion. the opportunities are endless.
Modular cooking system
Designed in South Africa (known as a Braai or Braaivleis – originating from a barbeque where meat is cooked over an open fire using wood or charcoal), the Cadac modular cooking system, powered by gas, enables you to change the barbeque grill cooking surface, using griddle plates, roast pans, pizza stones, a tapas set or a paella pan (all available as separates). You can even steam or bake food on some models.
For the health conscious, using a barbeque is a healthy way to cook meals and enjoy the great outdoors at the same time. Excess natural fat melts away and drips onto the racks, leaving you with a leaner cut of meat, without having it sit in unhealthy saturated fats. As no additional fats are required in cooking, it can also assist in reducing cholesterol. The charring process adds flavour to your meat, especially when marinated, meaning that healthy eating does not need to be boring.
